I Believe I Can Fly
-UPCOMING-
I Believe I Can Fly is a sculptural pair of wings, open and waiting. Defined by the space between them, the work is completed only when someone steps in, inhabiting the form and becoming part of the piece.
Rooted in the idea that dreams are boundless, the wings offer a moment to imagine beyond limits. There are no borders, no constraints, only the possibility of what could be. In this simple gesture, the act of stepping forward becomes an act of belief.
Set along Pier 9 on the Embarcadero, where land meets water and horizon stretches outward, I Can Fly invites participation, reflection, and play. It encourages viewers to pause, to place themselves within the work, and to consider what it means to take flight.
The piece becomes a quiet invitation. To dream freely. To believe in those dreams. And to step into the space where imagination begins to take shape.
