It was designed by Petaluma artist Marco Cochrane and was built on San Francisco's Treasure Island. It first debuted at Burning Man in 2015.

There has been controversy surrounding the sculpture that depicts a naked woman, but Building 180 CEO and founder Shannon Riley said reactions from people passing by have been more of interest and appreciation for the artwork.

"You see a strong, solid woman, confident in her stance," Riley said. "Looking at the city, having her face the city talks about women's empowerment, presence and strength and just being calm and present in the moment and with who you are."

"R-Evolution" will be on display for at least six months.
