A vibrant call

Come face-to-face with a life-sized incarnation of a one-year-old blue whale, an enduring symbol of Earth’s animal kingdom. This introspective, educational journey invites you to reflect on our relationship to nature.

While moving through the marine mammals’ space, you will dive into an enigmatic, melodious world. Get too close to the whale calf, however, and an alarm will sound, followed by a resounding silence; a gentle yet revealing allusion to our impact on the natural world.

This installation is not just a representation of one of Earth’s biggest, most beloved mammals; it is a plea for awareness and change, and an ode to beauty and the vulnerability of life on our planet.

Artist Statement

"With Echoes - a voice from uncharted waters, I want to provide an open space - a platform - for the public to have conversations about the future of our planet. Not just about whales, but of all life that exists. The need to create room to learn, and dream, of a better future feels more pressing than ever. The installation is my small contribution towards a larger shift in the narratives and actions needed"
